Model Number: JGBS23CEH5CC Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a model JGBS23CEH5CC GE gas stove/oven. When we use the oven, the temperature is not correct and it seems to cook inless than 1/2 the figured time. I have adjusted the screws on the temperature knob but it hasn't seemed to help. Things burn very easily/quickly. Is my thermocouple bad?? Is something else bad??

Most likely the problem is a bad oven thermostat (#17 on the break down diagram).
- The part number for the oven thermostat is AP2623073 Gene.
