This is a gas double oven range. It is an electric ignition with continuous cleaning oven. The oven has an electric (or is it electronic) ignition so there is no pilot light in the oven.
To clean the oven (after mistakingly melting a plastic container in it), I took out the bottom of the oven (the bottom oven of a double oven range) (right above the roasting pans the can be stored in the oven) and cleaned there. I exposed the electric ignition. I then put the items back in the oven, including the racks and started the oven. It worked for a while but then stopped working. Does that have to do with 1. a reset button that I failed to push 2. the oven light that (doesn't work and hasn't worked for a long time) that I took out but then put back in with it not working and lose before and after I took it out and it back in in 3. a blown fuse or 4. another reason? I've tried unplugging and plugging the range back in but that didn't work. How do I repair this?
This oven is a double oven and a few years ago I replaced the fuse of the top oven but it went out again after a few months. I suspect that I didn't use the right fuse a few years ago, prompting it to be blown after a few months. I haven't used the top oven for years.
Thank you.
