Model Number: RST399uw Brand: Caloric Age: More than 10 years
Hi we have a 16 year old caloric hi-lo RST399UW - one of stovetop burner knobs can no longer be turned on and off - and there is a slight gas smell coming from the place where the knob would be. Our repairman tried to close the knob - but was not completely successful, and there is still a slight gas smell. He said we need a "top burner valve" and that it is no longer available anywhere and we need to get a new stove.
I have tried searching the internet for the part and have not been successful. any comments as to how and how practical it would be to get the right part and not have to throw out an otherwise very good range and double oven. thanks Ads By Google Related Models |
