Model Number: ESF 3300 2W Brand: Caloric Age: More than 10 years
I have been told I need a surface burner receptacle for my 8" burner It is black and snaps into a metal bracket The prongs from the burner slips into the other end from the top of the stove It is a Caloric ESF3300 2W/P11426 12N. My question is the wires from the oven with clamps into this part have frayed and have loose ends Can I splice these wires together with electrical tape with the new part and will it work, and most of all, will it be a fire hazard?
