oven won't work

oven won't work

Model Number: mer5775qcq Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years

I had a bake element burn out and at the same time the clock/oven control stopped working and went blank. I changed the element and the oven and clock/oven control still don't work, but the stovetop works normally. Should I just change the clock/oven control?
