Hi all, Hopefully someone can give some insight on my Whirlpool / Kenmore oven which will not light on bake or broil. Stovetop lights fine. I've done some testing, here is what I found. I do get approx 10 volts dc across the red and orange wires at gas valve when I turn oven on.
I hear click but do not see spark, I can light it with a match.
I disconnected wires at gas valve to test ohms with oven unplugged. I get a very brief blip of around 170-210 and then it almost immediately reads 1.
Any help greatly appreciated as I really want to avoid just throwing parts at it. Thanks.
