Brand new Kenmore (three days old) has an issue with the right rear simmer burner intermittently lighting. I can visually see a weak spark compared to the other burners and lights right away with a match. Sears service technician was at my house today and stated this model range as an issue with that particular burner cap overhang and suggested using a match when it doesn't light. I don’t buy it. Do you have any suggestions?

Sears MUST fix it or give you a new one. You have to talk with people from customer relations at 800-549-4505.

Gene.
