I need to replace the latch that you use to clean the oven. Does the oven compartment need to be removed (slid out) in order to access the latch and how is this done?

The door latch is located in front of the range and you do not have to pull it out. Just lift up the top panel.

- The part number for the door latch assembly is AP3140305

Here are the break down diagrams for the GE range Model JBP64BB4WH
