The burner area venturi nuts are frozen. I believe that the venturi needs to be removed to access the burner area for repairs. My next course of action is to hacksaw the frozen brass nut off the venturi. Please confirm that this is a reasonable approach. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

That's what I'll do in such situation too. Be advised that because the brass nut is a part of the venturi, as you can see on the picture, most of the time it is not possible to remove the bottom part of the venturi from the jet holder. You'll have to replace such jet holder too. Here are the break down diagrams for the Thermador range Model PRG364GLUS Gene.
