Oven Igniters
Brand: Tappan Age: More than 10 years
Typical failures for oven gas valves caused by worn igniters via increased resistance in the glow element of the igniter. I have an Idea to fix this problem temporarily is to put a resister in parallel with the igniter inorder to boost the current to open the gas valve. What do you think?
