Can I use a Robert Shaw Part Number 41-408 Ignitor to replace the GE WB13T10045 Ignitor in a GE Profile JG5905BEK1BB oven? If not, why?

No, you can not. The igniter with the part number 41-408 designed to be used in gas furnaces and can not be used in gas ovens. It has very different ceramic and mounting. If you would like to save some money then you can use the oven igniter made by Whirlpool. - The oven igniter Part number: AP4012072
