Question Admiral oven door repair
Model Number: 667aktsa   Brand: Admiral   Age: More than 10 years

My parents have an Admiral ceramic top stove. At one point during cooking my father heard a loud pop and now the oven door does not close all of the way properly. It also does not have a stop any longer when you open the door. It just drops open. Are there springs that I should be looking for? Do I need to take the sides of the stove off to make this repair? The door comes off easily enough but I'm stumped on why it will not close all of the way and why the stopper on it dosen't work as well.

Thanks for any input that anyone may have!!!!!

Tim

Hi Tim

Remove the oven door and inspect both door hinges for broken or worn out parts.

- To help you locate the parts here are the break down diagrams for the Admiral range Model 667AK-TSAW

Good luck.
Gene.
