Hi Expert,

The Kitchen Aid range, model KERC507HBS2, was already installed on the home I just bought. However, the Warming Element switch (on left side) was broken off and the front burner was not heatup when we move in. Other burners are fine.

The part number for the Warming Element switch is AP3070968, which I got from your customer service representative. However, the question I would like to know:
1. Is the broken switch on Warming Element the cause for the front burner to stop work?
2. If the answer is YES, then why does the rear burner work with broken warming element?
Please advise me how to replace the Warming Element and how to repair the front burner
