Here is your parts breakdown
Model TFX24CRXABB Remove the cover for the evaporator coils If they are iced up then you probably have a defrost problem. Likely culprits are the defrost timer (#257 in Section 1), defrost thermostat (#240 Section 5) or defrost heater (#230 IN Section 5), includes a thermostat. Turn the cam (only turns one way) on the timer till the unit goes into defrost mode (Evap fan off and compressor off). Does the heater come on? Be carefull do not burn your fingers, should be able to see it glow. If yes then the timer needs replacing If no then the heater or thermostat are the most likely culprits. One other possibility is that the timers contacts are shot. Best way to check is with a meter for continuity. Note the the thermostat must be frozen to give 0 ohms. It is an open at room temperature. You have the glass type heaters which are notorious for burning out. PS you are in the wrong forum this one is for ovens!!!
