I am trying to replace an infinite switch on one of the stove burners. The GE replacement switch WB21X5243 is fine electrically. My problem is that the adapters will not accommodate both the knob and dial. The adapter that fits the knob is not long enough to fit both dial and knob. The dial when installed fits behind a glass panel and the knob in front. Any suggestions?
