Whirlpool Oven Trim Door Kit

Model Number: RD378PXGQ Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years

I am trying to replace the oven door trim kit. I understand the manufacturer has changed this part to have a dimple pop in instead of the screw in, but the glass door won't fit back in. We have tried three times, breaking the pieces each time. Any hellp?
