I was cleaning my GE Profile gas range and now 2 of the 5 burners will not turn off and continue to "click". the only way to get them to turn off is by unplugging the unit. What do I do?

I was cleaning my GE Profile gas range and now 2 of the 5 burners will not turn off and continue to "click". the only way to get them to turn off is by unplugging the unit. What do I do? Is there a button that I can press?
