I have an old Kenmore Classic Grille that is displaying F1 code. Model # search gets me nowhere but if I search on the part # of the erc/clock (338692) I get 2 results. 1 from Whirlpool and 1 from G.E. I read somewhere that all Kenmores that start with 911 were made by G.E. but why does the whirlpool show up in the search? Can I use this part and save $50 over the G.E. part?

The 911 is made by Whirlpool but some parts are interchangable. The part you need is Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Erc - control, part number: 4343011
