I was leaning against the control panel on the front of my Kitchen Aid gas range and it made several beeps. I noticed later that day that when I went to turn on the oven, the control panel did not light up. Surprisingly if I hit "bake" and then the "on" button, I could hear that the oven turned on. HOWEVER, the display panel would not light up, so I had no way of knowing what temp it was running at.
We had a tech come out and tell us we needed to replace the control panel. Anyone know what specific part I need and how to go about replacing it? I am going to attempt to do it myself...I'm a DIY-er. Always up for a challenge...
