received element today, the measurements are good but the nipple
receptor at end does not have a hole in it. The old element has
a copper flange with a hole that would screw into the receiving
wire end which has a tab with a hole, I have a screw that connect them.
The new element does not have a hole in the end tab. Should I
drill a hole in it, or re order???? thank you

Call them or email and find out what is going on.

I would not drill, the elements are brittle so they can snap fairly easily.
Unless of course they will replace it, if you break it.

call who, customer service said this part was re-designed...does that mean
the oven is obsolete? is there another part that has a hole? is there a part
I can buy to adapt to the end that has a hole? will a different adapter or
if I drill a hole cause an electrical concern within the back wall of the oven,
where the wires would recess into? thanks...R. Palma

I would take the element to an appliance parts supplier and get push on connectors to fit the element. There are different sizes and amperage ratings, that is why it is a good idea to take the element with you.
Cut off the old connectors from the stove wires and install the new ones that fit the element.
