Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

We ordered and replaced the oven ignitor and it worked the first time we used the oven and won't work now. We rechecked it made sure the connections were good and accurate but it still won't light. It only works the first time when we test it.

What could be the problem?

I need you to describe what is going on more specific. Does the igniter glows? Also I need the complete model number of the oven.

It only glowed the first time I tried to light it and then nothing.

Hi Valerie

You have to check if the power coming to the igniter when the thermostat is on. It suppose to be about 120V.
The model number you posted is incorrect. It does not come up.
