Model Number: RF3020XKQ Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year
I have a Whirlpool range that i just put the broiler element in and i just got it from someone. the bake/broil switch was disconnected and i dont know how to hook it up. i hooked it up and the bake and broil element works but not getting hot enough to cook anything. i think i have the wrong wires on the wrong connecter or ther maybe some missing. if both elements are puttin out then why are they not gettin hot enough to cook anything especially if the broiler element is new?

Which part did you call "bake/broil switch"?
How it was disconnected? How did you hook it up? What is the end of the model number? Gene.
