I have a Maytag model #SVD48600P and I need to replace the temperature sensor. I am looking for step by step instructions. Keep in mind it is built in so it is next to impossible to pull it out. Thanks

It's not suppose to be a difficult job. Remove the two screws secured the oven sensor to the oven back wall. Carefully pull the oven sensor into the oven cavity to gain access to the electrical quick connector.

When reassemble, make sure the sensor connector went through both the oven cavity and the back of the range. If the connector is trapped between the liner and the back of the range, it could damage the connector.
