My 1976 model Magic Chef range has developed a problem with an 8-inch element that only heats up slightly when turned on. I changed the element with no results, cleaned the receptacle contacts to no avail. I have concluded that I need a new infinite control for the burner, but I haven't been able to find any cross reference info. The original control is labeled "King Seeley Thermos Style 533-385MG Model 22144 250V 2100 Watt". I assume that I can replace it with a unit having the same volt/watt rating, but I can't find any confirmation of a direct replacement. Any ideas where to look? Thanks.
