Have an old Amana oven that does not turn off. Bottom element stays on. I think I need a new thermostat but cannot find one (no longer available).I think a Maytag # AP3158833 is a replacement thermostat but cannot locate one....any help ????

You found the correct part number for the oven thermostat. Unfortunately this part is no longer available and there is no replacements.
