I have a Maytag Gemini model MER6772BAW. The front two burners are not working properly on the cooktop and I need help with determining what needs to be replaced. The left front burner does not work at all and the right front burner looks to be working only in the middle of the element and will not heat to high.

I need help to determine the correct parts and part numbers to be replaced.

The problem could be a bad heating element or a bad infinite switch. You can find the complete troubleshooting and disassembly instructions in the Service Manual.

Here are the break down diagrams and parts list for the Maytag Gemini range Model MER6772BAW

Gene,

Thank you for providing the diagrams, however, the diagrams do not clearly identify which heating element is for the front left burner. I believe it is part number AP4008688. Can you confirm this?

The heating elements are listed by the size and type: 6" - AP4008687, 8" - AP4008688 and "dual" - AP4009116.

It does not say which one is for the LF burner.
