The door wont close all the way. We self cleaned it and the F2 code came on and I had to trip the breaker and let it cool off. Now the door wont close all the way. It's a half inch from closing. With that code not letting the clean cycle finish, is it keeping the latch popped out?

Rick,

Your "F2" fail code, and the door latch remaining partially or fully engaged, indicates there was a temperature problem during the S/C cycle.

Oven Over Temperature
Exceeded 590'with door
in unlocked position or
990' with door locked.

Other posibilities and checks are :

Open thermal switches(self resetting) located on the floor of com
ponent compartment. The switch is normally closed and will open if the area overheats due to an inoperative cooling fan.

Check Cooling Fan Operation.

Both lock switches #1 and #2 on the latch assembly are a "closed" circuit at the same time.

The most likely situation is, the oven temperature sensor failed,

Part number: AP2023913
Part number: AP2023913

With power off to the unit, you should be able to remove and replace the oven sensor assembly, by removing the oven door and carefully dismount the assembly and sliding it out of the back wall as far as possible.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
