I am having troubles with my oven lighting I have replaced the igniter twice and the spark board once. Sometimes it lites and sometimes it wont. Any suggestions

It sounds like you need another ignitor. Check the wireing, from the gas valve to the ignitor, and make sure it is in good shape. Tom ********************************************

I have checked the wiring and it is fine. This thing is driving me nuts. I was cooking a Turkey breast yesterday and it should have only taken 1.5-2.0 hours and it took almost 4 hours to cook it . After I went and bought chicken for supper, the oven worked fine fired up every time. Figures huh

Have you replaced the igniter only or you've replaced the burner too?

Yes you are right gremlins. I checked the burner and it is clean. I have checked about every thing I can think of I am going to clean the ignitor and try again.

Have you replaced the burner together with the igniter?

Heck replace it all!!! LOL!!! Check all your connections down there at the gas valve assembly. Tom ********************************************
