Question About Part
Model Number: RCS30146 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
What is the part called an "Element clip"? What is its function? It is listed as P/N AP3009130 in the exploded diagram for Whirlpool stove parts.

I can't get the model number posted to pull up, but for most Whirlpool ovens the element clip is the clip which holds the upper element in place. So the broil element doesn't end up on the top of you cake or whatever you are cooking.
