replacing valve on GE cooktop

Model Number: JGP979BEF1BB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years

HI everyone, does anyone know how to replace the valve (AP2023687) on a GE JGP979 gas cooktop? any help would greatly be appreciated.
