Kitchenaid electric cooktop
Model Number: KECC502GBL3 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
Hi Can anyone tell me how to get to the controls on this glass cooktop. My front dual elements both come on when only one is selected. I'm assuming control shorted Thanx

You have to pull up the whole cooktop and remove the screws around the burner box holding the glass top.
Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid cooktop Model KECC502GBL3 Gene.
