Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

Bake element will not heat up. Checked element and it is good. From what I have read it is most likely the control board. However they no longer make the control board. Is there anything else I should check before I run out and buy a new oven?

Here is the wiring diagram

It does show the clock/timer (Item F20 In Section 1) which is the control board as being available.

Does the broil element heat up?
If not you may have a power problem or the thermal circuit breaker (Item F119 in Section 2) could be open. Looks like it may be resettable if the red square between the contacts has popped out.

Yes the broiler element heats up just fine. Guess I came to the right place. Thanks for the help.

My next dumb question is how do I take the darn thing apart to replace the control board?

Ordered part Monday afternoon. Arrived Wednesday afternoon. Installed and it worked like a charm. THanks for all of your help. Appliance Pros rocks!
