Frigidaire oven surpasses desired temperature
Model Number: plefmz99ecf Brand: Frigidaire Age: 5 - 10 years
Within the last week, my oven will not beep when the desired temperature is attained. The temperature exceeds the setting and burns whatever it is I'm cooking. What might be causing this?

Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE PLEFMZ99ECF Frigidaire/electric Range | AppliancePartsPros.com Could be a couple things, I would start by checking the temperature probe/sensor (Item 37 in Section 2) Here is a good link, check out 7,8, 20 and 21. http://www.applianceaid.com/elecrange.html Be sure to unplug or remove power from the unit when working on it even with the elements set to off there is lethal voltages in the unit.
