My oven display began to fade gradually over time until it went completely blank. Oven and controls continued to work only the digital display was out for one year. I had a repairman look at it and he said control panel was bad. Now the oven does not work at all since he checked it out. Is this my control panel or something else? I am worried since the oven worked before the repairman checked it. Any suggestions?

The display is a part of the control BOARD while the key pad is a part of the control PANEL. They are two separate parts but the control panel ribbon cable should be plugged into the control board, so you can operate the oven.

In order to fix the blank display you have to replace the control BOARD.

Very possible you are not able to operate the oven because your repairman did not connect the ribbon cable properly.

The model number you posted is incomplete. If you need the correct part numbers, verify and repost the model number.

Thanks SO much for the quick reply! Will definitely check the ribbon cable. As for the model #, I have RBD 275 PDS 14. Part # for the control board would be greatly appreciated!:)

Stacy,

Unfortunately the control board for this model has been discontinued and is no longer available. Probably it's time for a new oven.
