I am currently experiencing erratic temperatures in the oven of approximately 50 + degrees. I used an oven thermometer to check the temps at each setting and came up with +/- 12 deg. F. at each setting. But when a roast or pie is cooked it sometimes is necessary to boost the temp by about 50 deg. to complete the cooking. It is a digital model with an analog dial for the oven settings. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I worked on the same model last week, and the oven was doing the same thing, and I replaced the oven sensor, and it took care of the problem. The senser part # is WB21X158. Tom

Thank you so much. I suspected that component but was also suspecting a bad control unit. Is there a way to determine the sensor defectiveness through testing with an ohm meter?

Usually when there is that little of a temp difference, it is usually the sensor. If you also look, in your book, you might be able to adjust your temp through the control board. I believe you can on that model. Tom

Again, thank you for your help. I will get the manual located and try adjusting the temp first.
