Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I tried to cancel the self-cleaning cycle on my Kenmore stove yesterday (before it got started) - I thought it was cancelled, opened the door to check something & now the lock is engaged with the door open so the lock light flashes continuously & I can't use the oven. Any suggestions? Of course I tried the clear button which did nothing & I flipped the breaker hoping it would reset itself but nothing. Thanks for any help!

After searching again yesterday I finally found a reset button & got it squared away. Thanks!

Wish I could have been helpful.

If in the future you have problems perhaps you could get the numbers off of the control board then those numbers might allow someone to cross reference them back to a model number.
