I dropped something on the cooktop and broke it. My question: I have always been unhappy with the smooth top -- it is difficult to clean and must be cleaned every time it is used. Is there a top I can get that's not smooth? I've seen bumpy tops but don't know if one is available for my model.

Thanks

There is only one replacement top for your range and it will be just like the original. I hear many complaints about the use and care of these tops and unfortunately they can be difficult to care for. When you replace your top, be sure and clean it with an appropriate ceramic top cleaner which will make it easier to maintain. Also, clean starch based spills as they occur, but allow the sugar based spills to cool before removing. A razor scraper from the wall paper section of your local hardware store comes in handy for cleaning the more difficult spills.
