Model Number: jgbs21hed3ww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a GE gas range (model #JGBS21HED3ww). Just replaced the thermostat, the oven will not turn on when selected. The thermostat appears to work, and the ignitor/glow plug works perfectly, no gas is being supplied to the lower unit.
Now the curious part, when I turn on the back burners after a couple of minutes the oven starts to get gas and kicks on, then operates normally. Do I have a faulty regulator? Any help would be appreciated. Ads By Google Related Models |

Replace the ignitor. The ignitor is not strong enough to open the gas valve. Once you replace it, it will work fine. Tom ********************************************
