Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

While self cleaning the whole oven shut off. I pulled the oven and found the thermal-fuse going to the control board has no continuity. How do I remove this fuse from the connector that goes to the circuit board? Could there be something else causing no power?

You can use a needle to remove the control panel thermal fuse from the connector. Order the new fuse and you'll see how this latch is working.

You also may want to check the oven thermal shut down fuse on the back of the oven (#37 on the diagram).

You did not mention which oven was self cleaning, so I'll provide part numbers for both ovens.

- The upper oven thermal fuse Part number: AP3055315

- The lower oven thermal fuse Part number: AP3055316

- The control panel thermal fuse Part number: AP3777386

Thank you for the response. I ordered the thermal fuse it should be here tomorrow. The overheat sensor has continuity so I think that is OK. Thanks again
