I have a Whirpool Model GBD277PDB3 and was getting an error E6 F2. After reading topics on this site and with confirmation of a repairman, I ordered a new control board from you. At first everything appeared to work fine but tonight after we took our dinner out, the buttons to turn off the oven did not work (upper and lower). I had to cut off the circuit.
I did have one suprise when installing the new board the other day that might be the cause of the problem. I expected the ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the control board to be attached to one side of a wiring harness and just plug into the receptical on the control bgoard. I found the harness just slid over the ribbon cable. It was not firmly affixed to it. Is this expected?? I lined up the contacts and pluged in the harness. It appeared the cable was secure but I wonder. It does appear that most buttons on the keypad work but the off buttons are just dead.
