We just got a house and this oven is from year 1! It is a wall oven smaller than 24" it hink it is 23 or 22. But you turn the knob to preheat and it preheats perfectly. You tuen it to bake and it loses temp. The coil on the bottom doesnt seem to work. I flicked water on it and it didnt sizzle.

Can you just replace the coil or can it be a complete electric problem. We need a quick fix for a lil while we cannot redo our kitchen just yet and if we buy a new wall oven it will not fit in the space it is in now

Thanks any input would be helpful
