My wall oven was taking too long to heat up and the temperature was fluctuating all over the place. Things were taking too long to cook and raw in the centre. After reading the responses on this site I replaced the oven sensor.

The first time I used it, after setting the temperature at 350 F the oven just got hotter and hotter. I turned it off at 475F (measured on a separate oven thermometer). There is no error message and everything else seems to work.

Please suggest what I should do next. Is it the sensor or something else?

If the sensor is OK then odds are that your control board is toast.

Thanks for your quick response. I've removed the sensor and will try to return it. I fear you are right about the control board. I think i'm finished with this oven. Too many problems. Too expensive to repair.
