The front left burner on my Frigidaire range is not working. It is one of two 6 inch elements on the cook top.

I took apart the the cook top and switched the 6 inch elements to see if it was the element. The element that I switched from the back to the front where it was not working also did not work. The element that was not working in the front did work in the back, so it is not the element. I think it has to be something in the wiring then.

Can someone help me find the correct wiring parts to get it to work? The light in the center of the cooktop to alert you that there is a burner on does light up when the burner that is not working is turned on if that helps any.

Sounds like you need a new infinite switch (items 54 in Section 1)
There are a couple different ones depending on the element it controls.
The parts desk people can help you choose the correct one.

You were right. I swapped the switches since this stove has two of the same switches on it and the same switch did not work. Thanks for your help. I will order the part right away. Guessing I saved a few hundred bucks this way.
