I have an LG oven that is a little over 2 years old and began giving us an F0 error code. At first unplugging the unit fixed the problem but eventually the entire touchpad froze and unplugging did not help. Everytime the unit was plugged in the touchpanel would not work and the F0 code would show up within 5 minutes. A repairman recommended replacing the control ($180). Once replaced the oven exhibited the EXACT same problem. I've decided to DIY and I removed the ribbon cable from the touchpanel to see if that was the problem. After waiting an hour the error code does not appear. So the issue is: Does this guarantee that the touchpanel is the issue and how expensive and hard is that to replace? I can't seem to find the touchpanel part online.
