Model Number: RST310UWW Brand: Caloric Age: More than 10 years
Our Caloric gas oven has stopped heating consistently. The burner goes on and will heat for maybe 5 minutes, but then it shuts off. The oven does not reignite or cycle properly, and can't reach a bake temperature.
We bought this unit in 1994. All other functions seem fine. How do I diagnose before ordering replacement parts. I'm a novice, but what I'm reading suggests the problem might be 1. a worn-out igniter OR 2. a malfunctioning oven temp sensor OR 3. the electronic control. Can someone kindly tell me how to test to find out what to replace? Thanks! Peter Ads By Google Related Models |
