Model Number: SVE47500 Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
About a month ago the fan that I associate with the self cleaning function starting coming on in the bake mode. It goes off long after the bake is cancelled. Yesterday the display started being VERY dim. I have reset everthing several times but still have the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely the problem is a bad Electronic Oven Control but there is a small chance for the relay board to be bad too. I would recommend to replace the EOC first.
- The part number for the EOC is AP367441 Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air range Model SVE47500B You can find the complete disassembly instructions in the Service manual. Gene.

Hi Gene, Thanks for the help. I ordered and replaced the EOC. Between the time I sent the post and replaced the board, the fan started running all the time. Still have the same problem with the new board. Do I now replace the relay board?

Sounds like the fan relay on the relay board which operates with the fan is stuck closed and the relay board has to be replaced too.
- The part number for the relay board is AP204869 Gene.

Hi Gene, I've been waiting to see if there is any additional indication that would help in the diagnois. Now both the fan that usually operates during cleaning and the vent fan are randomly turning on and off. Additionally the door is now locking some times, I'm getting an occasional "lock" light and the "bake" input is very intermittent. Additionally I'm getting an occasional "F1" code. Should I throw away the unit or do you think the relay board is still the problem? Thanks, keith
