I am looking for a some kind of answer as to why the control part that turns on the oven ( also call the clock ) keeps burning up. So far I have replaced the part three times at 140 a pop. Does any body have a answer??

I guess I can answer my own clock problem. After recieving a new clock Part # 31818545 and taken meter readings on the old and new I removed a resistor on the z3 location . I found out or at least thought it was bad since my Fluke meter told me so . After I had the resistor in my hand I used my Simpson meter and set it on 10,000 ohms it showed me it was good. So I put it back on the board and my clock control came to life. The only possible concluson is that since the resistor heats up there was a cold solder joint on it . That tells me that this is not a one time thing since this is my third clock counting the the unit that came with the stove. I also told me not to trust the electronic Fluke meter and to stick to the old needle meter.:)
