Brand: -brand- Age: Less than 1 year
Attempting to reinstall a Thermador oven door (customer removed it himself, but couldn't get it back on).
No install instructions could be found for the 6-7 year old PRSG-366 (36", 6 gas burners). Thermador installation docs on their website seem to show a newer hinge mechanism than this door has. This oven door has a two-part hinge mechanism. The newer models I've seen before have a one-part hinge. Doing a bit of research, and after sitting the door in place, it looks like you have to lift the door up hard and push the bottom of the door in. I'm afraid to dent the finish of the door until I'm more sure this is the way to go. Any suggestions? I won't hold you accountable if I dent the door ![]() Thanks - Ray |
