Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

The vent-a-hood over my stove top is labelled 'KICH-N-VENT'.
The light switch is not working (black plastic switch came off and
was misplaced). How do I access the switch box so that I can
try to repair or replace the switch? The exhaust fan is still working.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tom,

Remove the grease filters and look inside for the name plate with the model number. Without it we are not able to provide any accurate advice.

I also have a Kich-n-vent that the motor has gone out. I can hear the stress as the power is put to it but, although it turns freely, doesn't respond to the AC voltage. The motor is unidentifiable as per any numbers. Is Grainger the only place I can go to to find a replacement ? Thank you for your assistance.
