Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

Our Frigidaire cooktop's (FEC30S6ABF) right front burner isn't working properly. If we turn it on low, it automatically goes to High. If we turn it off, it takes 5 minutes of scary waiting until it thunks and finally shuts down. This is such a fire hazard!

I called Frigidaire and they told me to get a service repair person out here. However, I have been reading that it is probably a bad switch. Could you please tell me the part number? Thanks so much for this site!

I think it is Item 54A in Section 1.
Always best to confirm this with the parts people.
